King Vulture Fun Fact: A fun fact about the king vulture is that it has such a strong sense of smell that it can locate carrion (dead animals) hidden beneath dense forest canopies. Unlike most vultures, which rely primarily on sight, the king vulture uses its keen sense of smell to find food from great distances!
