Yak Fun Fact: A fun fact about yaks is that they have incredibly thick fur, which helps them survive in some of the coldest environments on Earth, like the Himalayan mountains. Their dense undercoat is so insulating that snow can rest on their backs without melting, keeping them warm even in freezing temperatures!
