Fennec Fox Fun Fact: A fun fact about the fennec fox is that it has the largest ears relative to its body size of any canid species! Their huge ears, which can grow up to 6 inches long, help them dissipate heat in their hot desert habitat and also give them excellent hearing, allowing them to detect prey moving underground.
