Bison Fun Fact: A fun fact about bison is that they can run up to 35 miles per hour (56 km/h), despite their massive size! Even though they can weigh over 2,000 pounds (900 kg), they are incredibly fast and agile. Bison are also excellent jumpers and swimmers, making them surprisingly nimble for such large animals.
